- Measuring your LinkedIn profile success with Social Selling Index (SSI) and how you can improve your SSI stats. Setting your privacy settings to private for LinkedIn. Follow this to create a secondary language in your profile on LinkedIn.
a) Click the Me icon at top of your LinkedIn homepage.
b) Click View profile.
c) Click Add profile in another language on the right rail.
d) Choose a language from the dropdown list and update your first name and last name if they're different in the new profile's language.
e) If the language you want to add isn't listed in the dropdown, your current profile may already be in that language. Make sure your profile's content is in the same language as the language profile you've selected.
f) Translate your existing Professional Headline. Translations aren't done for you. You'll need to add or translate your own personal content by editing your secondary language profile.
g) Click Create Profile.
