Does My Business Need to Register With the ICO?
Every sole trader, charity, business and organisation who process data may still be unaware they need to pay a data protection fee and be registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) unless they are exempt.
This was a result of the introduction of the Data Protection (Charges and Information) Regulations 2018 which came into force on 25 May 2018.
